| About Our Tripod |
|
Phi Sigma Pi was founded on a tripod of ideals, which make our organization unique. It is our stated goal to uphold the tripod as follows: In carrying out the purpose of the National Fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi shall strive to personify and encourage three ideals: 1. The acquisition and dissemination of information and knowledge through scholarship 2. The application of professional skills and fostering of leadership qualities by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity 3. The fostering of non-discriminatory, fraternal fellowship within Phi Sigma Pi's ranks Phi Sigma Pi is one-third honor society, one-third service organization, and one-third social fraternity. We seek to incorporate the best and most beneficial aspects of all these types of organizations into our program. Here are some more specifics on how we work to uphold each leg of the tripod: Scholarship
